Biologia Research India Pvt. Ltd. is an independent, non-governmental biotechnology company that focuses on cutting-edge Research and Development in the life sciences. Established in June 2020 and located in Karnal, Haryana, our company was founded by Dr. Shabnam and Mrs. Lalita Passricha. The company has received several prestigious recognitions, including Startup India, Startup Haryana, ISO 9001:2015 certification, and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP) accreditation. Our primary goal is to advance the development of students and researchers through specialized training and innovative research solutions. Apart from being a supplier and trader of Plate Count Agar, Phosphate Buffered Saline and Sanger Sequencing, we are also a service provider for Sanger Sequencing.

In alignment with the Prime Minister Kaushal Yojna, we have initiated training programs for young students, entrepreneurs, and industrialists. We are also in the process of registering with the Life Sciences Sector Skill Development Council (LSSSDC) to provide affordable, high-quality training to the youth. Alongside our Research and Development activities, we collaborate with PhD students, providing them with state-of-the-art instruments to aid their research. Recognizing the vital role of timely research support, we provide outsourcing services that streamline and enhance the feasibility of scientific work.

Leadership

Dr. Shabnam, the Director and Head of the Research Lab at Biologia Research India Pvt. Ltd., holds a PhD in Life Sciences from the International Center for Genetic Engineering and Biotechnology (ICGEB), New Delhi. With over 12 years of experience in life sciences research, Dr. Shabnam has made significant contributions in various areas, including Single Nucleotide Polymorphism (SNP)-based selection of higher milk-producing buffaloes, the development of novel microbial biofertilizers, and the study of helicases in mitochondrial maintenance.

Dr. Shabnam has published more than 15 research articles in high-impact international journals and has authored chapters in respected scientific books. Her pioneering work has earned her recognition within the scientific community, and she regularly reviews for several high-ranking scientific journals. Furthermore, she has filed patents related to kit development, reflecting her innovative approach. Dr. Shabnam has also been honored with several prestigious awards, including the CSIR-NET and DBT Research Associate awards, in recognition of her exceptional contributions to biochemistry.

Dr. Shabnam expertise is highly sought after, and she is frequently invited as a keynote speaker at national and international conferences and workshops. Over the past three years, she has trained more than 30 students, sharing her knowledge and helping to elevate research standards in the life sciences.
